DEPRESSION
(Children, Adolescents and Adults)

Depression is a common mental health illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. In males, depression is commonly manifested as frustration and anger.
ANXIETY
(Children, Adolescents and Adults)

Anxiety is a condition of persistent and uncontrollable nervousness, stress, and worry that is triggered by anticipation of future events, memories of past events, or ruminations over day-to-day events, both trivial and major, with disproportionate fears of catastrophic consequences. Symptoms: chest tighten, stomach ache, shoulder tighten, difficulty breathing or headache.
PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAUMA
(Children, Adolescents and Adults)

Trauma is a type of damage to the mind that occurs as a result of a severely distressing event. Trauma is often the result of an overwhelming amount of stress that exceeds one's ability to cope, or integrate the emotions involved with that experience.
OPPOSITIONAL DEFIANT DISORDER (ODD)
(Children and Adolescents)

Even the best-behaved children can be difficult and challenging at times. But if your child or teen has a frequent and persistent pattern of anger, irritability, arguing, defiance or vindictiveness toward you and other authority figures, he or she may have oppositional defiant disorder (ODD).
ATTENTION DEFECIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER
(Children, Adolescents and Adults)

ADHD is a disorder characterized by a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity/impulsivity that occurs in academic, occupational, or social settings. Children with ADHD also may struggle with low self-esteem, troubled relationships and poor performance in school.
